Circle of the Sacred Fae is a Wicca coven of the American Tradition of the Goddess, located in Arlington, TX. As with many Amtrad covens the teachings are of Earth magic, working with all forms of life seen or unseen. We believe in healing and caring of our great Mother Earth and finding balance within ourselves and nature. We honor the Triple Goddess (Maiden, Mother, Crone) and the Triple God (Warrior, Father, Sage) in all of there aspects and celebrate life through the Wheel of the Year.
Because we are committed to this, classes through out the three degrees focus on the development and advancement of each individual to their full potential. We view Wicca as a religion, therefore we study many ancient myths, cultures, observe all eight sabbats, the Full Moon and New Moons. We honor the old deities, the Fae our Earth spirits, and work with many pantheons including Roman, Greek, Celtic, African, Hindu and many more.
The Coven will take several camping trips through out the year (weather permitting) of different magical places in our wonderful native state of Texas, Oklahoma, Louisiana, and Arkansas. You will be asked (but will not be forced against your will) to do vision quests, work with the elements of Air, Fire, Water and Earth in out door settings. So, if you are squeamish about the outdoors this Coven may not be for you.
The Coven will also take part in volunteering around our local area gardens to help in the preservation of our Earth, learn more about living green, earth responsibility and sustainable living. We believe this will help us to find balance within the world we live in today among a concrete jungle.
